Tim is the Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Prairie Gateway Rail, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in railway operations, logistics, transportation, supply chain management, and executive leadership. Throughout his career, Tim has built a reputation for delivering practical solutions, developing strong customer partnerships, and leading organizations through growth, operational transformation, and complex transportation challenges.

As CEO, Tim is responsible for the strategic direction, business development, and overall leadership of Prairie Gateway Rail. He works closely with industrial customers, short line railways, agricultural producers, municipalities, and rail-served businesses to develop customized rail solutions that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and long-term operational performance.

Before founding Prairie Gateway Rail, Tim served as Chief Executive Officer of Prairie Rail Solutions, where he successfully expanded the company's service offerings, secured long-term commercial agreements, and grew its presence across Manitoba's rail industry. His leadership included overseeing railcar storage operations, industrial switching, track inspection and maintenance programs, signal maintenance, first-mile and last-mile rail services, and strategic customer partnerships with major industrial and agricultural organizations.

Tim's career also includes senior leadership positions across the transportation and supply chain sectors with organizations including CN Rail, Dynacare, Canada Cartage, DHL Supply Chain, and Maple Leaf Construction. This diverse experience in multi-modal transportation provides him with a unique understanding of how rail integrates into the broader supply chain, allowing Prairie Gateway Rail to deliver solutions that support both transportation efficiency and business performance.

A Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) and Certified Logistics Management Professional (CCLMP), Tim is recognized for combining operational expertise with strategic thinking and customer-focused leadership. He also serves as an instructor and Mentor, sharing his knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management while helping develop the next generation of industry professionals. In addition, he is an active member of the executive team for the Manitoba Area Council of the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation and the Chair of the Program Advisory Committee for Transportation Logistics Supply Chain Management at RRC Polytech, contributing to the continued advancement of the logistics and supply chain profession throughout the province.
